KQLZ V99.1 FM in Boise takes the cake for this witty billboard! This is just too awesome, and it sure didn’t take too long for this billboard to pop up, just merely days after Biden’s f-bomb made national headlines. Check out the story from KBOI channel 2’s website:

Today’s fail boat material comes from an article I read from KTVB.com.
Okay, my friend. First off, if you want to pull off a successful robbery, you must disguise yourself to at least SOMEWHAT hide your identity (ski mask, sunglasses, SHAVE YOUR BEARD, etc). Second off, do NOT look directly into the cameras. Just don’t do it!
… not that I’m saying I have experience with robbing stores or anything, but that just seems like common sense. Only in Idaho will you see a man foolish enough to look square into a camera while committing a crime.
Mr. Burglar, you FAIL.
Idaho County Sherriff’s office is looking for two men involved in this robbery, including the one (very well) pictured above.

First off, I want to apologize for neglecting this blog a wee bit! I’ve been swamped at work like no other. I’ll be blogging a bit more often in the coming weeks until I leave for Denver!
A historic thing happened yesterday: the House and Senate voted in favor of a major health care overhaul! And President Obama signed it today.

Perhaps I should just rename my blog to “The Un-Official Blog of the Random Guy Who Hates Highway 16” or something like that. But if you didn’t hear, there was yet another car accident on Highway 16, this time at Beacon Light Road.

Just a bit of history before we get to this story: Yes. This really happened to me today. I am NOT kidding you, nor am I sugar-coating this. I hope I don’t get in trouble for posting the fact that I got summoned to jury duty on my blog, but I won’t be releasing any more information besides just that. I promise.
Here’s the story, after the jump. You can also read more info on what’s happening to this blog when I go on my mission soon at the bottom.

Today was another fine day in the city of trees, perfect weather for another Boise Flash Mob event. The weather was warm, and was absolutely great for being outdoors! After being cooped up at work in a cramped backoffice while working on my trusty laptop, it sure felt good to get outside and… well, dance in front of Boise City Hall. However, it was a bit different than having a live DJ in the city hall plaza. Check out this cool footage taken by a fellow flash-mobber.

Saturday mail deliveries may be a thing of the past! Check out this article from the Los Angeles Daily News.
As for me, considering at least half the mail that is delivered to our mailbox is junk mail, I sure wouldn’t miss Saturday deliveries. However, this could still be a pretty big deal, depending on how you look at it. Here’s what I’m thinking.

A true story.
As his family was expecting a new addition to the family soon, little William and his parents were on the lookout for a new vehicle to transport all of the growing family at once. A friend of the family had a deal on a vehicle that fit their needs perfectly, and for a great price: simply one dollar.
Of course, his family wouldn’t accept the one dollar offer, but did want the van. Instead of paying cash for the new vehicle, the father insisted that he placed some money in each of their kids’ missionary funds. The offer went thru, and the family now had a new vehicle to call their own.
